Recurring spend

A subscription tracker that never asks for your bank login

Track subscriptions by cost, billing cycle, renewal date, and status, with monthly and yearly spend totals and a heads-up before anything renews. No bank connection required.

Why this exists

Why do subscription trackers ask for your bank password?

The typical subscription tracker asks you to connect a bank account through Plaid before it will tell you anything, which means handing a third party read access to your entire transaction history just to see a list of recurring charges. For a lot of people, that trade isn't worth it for what amounts to a glorified spreadsheet.

Subscriptions works the other way: you add what you're paying for, its cost and billing cycle, and when it renews. Notlix computes the monthly and yearly totals for you and flags anything renewing within a week, no bank access, no statement scraping, and nothing to disconnect later.

What you get

How does the subscription tracker work?

Any billing cycle

Weekly, monthly, yearly, or custom, normalized into a single monthly-equivalent figure so totals stay comparable.

Renewal tracking

See the next renewal date on every card, with anything due inside seven days flagged so nothing renews as a surprise.

Spend at a glance

Active subscription count, monthly spend, and yearly spend, calculated automatically from what you've entered.

Status and category

Mark a subscription active, paused, or cancelled, and filter by category to see where the money actually goes.

Questions

Frequently asked about Subscriptions

Do I need to connect my bank account?

No. Subscriptions is manual entry by design, you add the cost, billing cycle, and renewal date yourself. Nothing reads your bank or card transactions.

How does it calculate monthly and yearly spend?

Every subscription's cost is normalized to a monthly-equivalent figure based on its billing cycle (a yearly plan is divided by twelve, weekly is multiplied out), then summed across everything marked active.

What counts as “renewing soon”?

Any active subscription with a renewal date inside the next seven days gets flagged on its card, so you see it before the charge happens, not after.
